Arab League chief participates in meeting in Dublin on Middle East peace

CAIRO, Feb 20 (MENA) - Arab League (AL) Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit participated in a meeting held in Dublin on reviving the Middle East peace process.

The meeting also took up means of implementing the two-state solution as the only and realistic way for reaching a just settlement and achieving peace in the Middle East, said AL Spokesman Ambassador Mahmoud Afifi on Wednesday.

The meeting was held at the level of foreign ministers, he added, noting that the participants confirmed the necessity that the international community should undertake its responsibility towards the deteriorating situation in the Palestinian territories.
