MUNICH, Feb 16 (MENA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday said that Egypt is seeking to express the interests of the African peoples and their need to achieve stability and progress.

In his speech at the main session of the Munich Security Conference, president Sisi added that the conference is held this year amid growing challenges and dangers including the continuation of tension and conflict at the international level and the spread of terrorism and extremism along with increasing rates of crime.

These challenges would undermine national institutions and pose danger to the stability and security of peoples, added president Sisi.

President Sisi underlined the necessity of working to enhance international efforts for confronting these challenges.
