CAIRO – 12 February 2019: Chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdel Aal said that Egypt will witness lower temperatures and heavy rains on Wednesday, Feb. 12, and that temperatures will record 14°C in Cairo.

Abdel Aal added that the rainfall is expected nationwide, and heavy rains and thunder are expected to hit the southern parts of the country.

Temperatures are also expected to drop in Alexandria and the Nile Delta governorates.
The unstable weather will continue on Thursday and Friday and will cause a decline in visibility and disorder in maritime navigation on the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea.
