CAIRO, Feb 6 (MENA) - Egypt has welcomed signing a peace agreement in Central Africa between the government and 14 armed groups.

The Foreign Ministry, in a statement, lauded reaching the agreement after talks between both sides in the Sudanese capital Khartoum.

Egypt expresses its support for implementing the agreement for establishing peace and security in Central Africa, added the statement.

It praised efforts exerted by Sudan to end the suffering of the Central African people.
