Shoukry attends AU ministerial meetings ahead of summit

ADDIS ABABA, Feb 6 (MENA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will attend meetings of the African Union Foreign Ministers Executive Council on Thursday.

The meeting is held ahead of the African summit that will kick off here on Sunday during which Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi will receive the AU chairmanship for the year 2019.

The two-day ministerial meetings will take up political files related to peace and security in Africa atop of which will be the situation in Libya, Somalia and the DR Congo.
