BERLIN, Jan 20 (MENA) - Egypt's agricultural cooperation with Germany has been hailed as Berlin is one of the agricultural importers from Cairo.

This is part of the growing relations and the Egyptian-Germany rapprochement, thanks to President Abdel Fatah El Sisi's efforts and that of the Egyptian diplomacy, Agriculture Minister Dr. Ezz Eddine Abu Steit in Berlin, where he is participating in a food and agriculture forum.

Among the topics on the event's agenda is the application of smart solutions in agriculture.

Abu Steit said Egypt has achieved progress in using digital agriculture including better consumption of water and fertilizers.

The new science is the use of new and advanced technologies, integrated into one system, to enable farmers and other stakeholders within the agriculture value chain to improve food production.
