CAIRO, Jan 19 (MENA) – Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh lauded on Saturday Egypt’s leading role in serving the Arab and Muslim worlds via its moderate thought.

Addressing the opening session of the 29th international conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, the Saudi minister also commended Cairo’s efforts to eliminate terrorism and extremism.

Meanwhile, Al-Sheikh underscored the importance of building personalities and nations to combat challenges facing the Muslim world.

He also called for introducing national programs and projects to avoid the danger of destroying the national identity.
