CAIRO – 10 November 2018: Egyptians were advised to wear thick clothes during the early hours of the morning and late at night as the temperature is expected to decline by nine degrees Celsius during the week.

The temperature in Cairo on Saturday records highs of 26°C, and is expected to go down to 16°C or 17°C during the coming days.

Drivers using the coastal roads are advised to be cautious due to a mist-related low visibility, according Mahmoud Shaheen, the director of Weather Analysis at the Meteorological Authority.

Shaheen also expected rainfall on the Northern coasts, Cairo and Delta during the coming 48 hours.

Temperature varied across different governorates in Egypt, with Alexandria seeing highs of 23 °C; Sharm el-Sheikh 25°C and Aswan records 28°C.
