CAIRO,- 31 October 2018: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed the state's keenness on partnering with the private sector in various domains as a way to down public debt and boot investments and development.

He made the remarks on Tuesday during his chairmanship of the higher committee for partnership with the private sector.

The meeting was attended by the ministers of justice, transport and finance alongside a number of top officials.

The conferees approved recommendations by the education ministry to sign contracts with winners of a tender of schools projects under which 54 schools will be set up in 16 governorates.

The committee also approved establishing a new building of the faculty of commerce of Ain Shams University under public-private partnership system.

The committee also approved finalizing procedures to put out to tender a dry port project in the Sixth of October city which is due to be implemented under public-private partnership system.

Cabinet spokesman Nader Saad noted that the meeting tackled the challenges facing the public-private partnership system and the positive measures taken in this regard.
