CAIRO – 11 October 2018: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi attended on Thursday the 29th Educational Seminar of Armed forces, which is titled "October..Continuity of Generations.”

The seminar coincides with the 45th anniversary of the 6th of October war victory celebrations، Presidency Spokesman Ambassador, Bassam Radi announced.




Defense and Military Production Minister Mohamed Zaki and Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli are present at the event which is also attended by a number of senior statesmen and prominent public figures, as well as police and army top brass

The attendees paid tribute to late president and Nobel Peace Laureate Anwar el Sadat, who is the "hero of war and peace" as the inscription on his grave reads.

Sisi arrived Cairo on Wednesday's evening coming from the Greek Island of Crete.

During his several-hour visit to Greece, President Sisi took part in a tripartite summit along with his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Anastasiades and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

The summit took up means of fostering ties among the three countries in the different political, economic, trade and tourism areas, in addition to discussing key regional issues.

At the end of the summit, the three leaders expressed their solid determination to render joint cooperation in various domains successful, in addition to stepping up cooperation among the three states to consolidate peace in the region.

Earlier today, President Sisi held talks with Tsipras and Anastasiades on means of cementing bilateral ties and cooperation in the different fields.
