Sudan VP discusses preparations to hold Egyptian-Sudanese higher committee meeting in Khartoum

KHARTOUM – 9 September 2018: Sudanese Vice President Bakry Hassan Saleh reviewed on Sunday the outcome of the Egyptian-Sudanese ministerial committee meetings that was held earlier in Cairo.

During his meeting with Sudanese Foreign Minister el-Dardiri Mohamed Ahmed, they discussed preparations to hold the meetings of the Egyptian-Sudanese higher committee, led by presidents Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Omar Bashir, slated to be held in October in Khartoum.

In statements, Sudanese foreign minister said he also reviewed preparations for the visit planned to be held soon by Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli to Sudan .

They also discussed preparations to hold the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) summit in Addis Ababa on Wednesday and files to be tackled in the summit including signing the final peace agreement in South Sudan.
