CAIRO - 25 August 2018: The central operations room at the cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) asserted that it has followed up conditions nationwide throughout Eidual Adha holiday to make sure that all commodities are offered in sufficient quantities at markets and ensure that services are provided at all facilities.

In a report released on Saturday, the IDSC central operations room asserted that no complaints were received during the four-day Eidual Adha (Greater Bairam) vacation.

The central operations room was activated as of August 20, upon directives from Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli to deal with any emergency or violation, read the report.

For this purpose, the operations room said that it has taken all precautionary measures and put all vital facilities nationwide on high alert, according to the report.

The room included representatives of the ministries of defense, interior, supply, electricity, transport, local development, health, social solidarity, aviation and tourism, the report pointed out.

The room asserted that it will continue work to follow up conditions of the Egyptian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia until the return home of the last batch of them, noting that it is submitting periodical reports to the prime minister on this file.

It pointed out that two pilgrims died on Saturday, bringing the total number of Egypt's deaths during the current Hajj season to 45.

It put the total number of Egyptian pilgrims this year at 73,082.
