More than 1000 Israeli settlers storm into Aqsa

RAMALLAH - 22 July 2018: As many as 1,023 Israeli settlers stormed into Al Aqsa Mosque in the morning on Sunday guarded by Israeli forces, an official of the Palestinian Awqaf Ministry said.

This coincides with the anniversary of Tisha B'Av which is an annual fast day in Judaism, on which a number of disasters in Jewish history occurred, primarily the destruction of both Solomon's Temple by the Neo-Babylonian Empire and the Second Temple by the Roman Empire in Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses said that the settlers stormed into the mosque from Bab el Magharba and conducted provocative tours in it.
