Education ministry: few cheating cases reported at Thanaweya Amma economics exam

CAIRO - 5 June 2018: The Education Ministry reported four cheating cases using mobile phones at the Thanaweya Amma economics exam on Tuesday.

In a press statement, Head of the Public Education Sector Reda Hegazy confirmed that three papers of the economics exam were posted on social media by the cheating students.

In Souhag governorate, another case was reported for a student who posted parts of the economics exam papers on social media 25 minutes after the exam started.

The ministry has a zero-tolerance policy against cheaters, he averred, promising harsh punishment to be applied in all the discovered cases.
