CAIRO – 9 May 2018: Libyan military commander Khalifa Haftar attended Tuesday the graduation of the 51 Libyan Military class in Benghazi along with several Libyan Army commanders.

A Military Egyptian delegation attended the graduation ceremony, headed by General Mohamed El-Keshki, deputy minister of defense for external relations.

Haftar vowed to keep the current military campaign against terrorist armed militias in Libya.

The graduation of the Libyan military class coincides with the fourth anniversary of operation Karama (battle for dignity), launched by the army in 2014 to combat rival militias.

The graduation ceremony coincided with the fourth year of the “Karama” military campaign launched by Haftar in 2014.

The Libyan military commander praised, during a speech he gave, his forces’ successful operations in several Libyan fronts.

The Libyan commander has recently launched on May 7 a military offensive against armed militias in the port city of Derna.
