Abbas greets Sisi on Sinai Liberation Day

RAMALLAH - 25 April 2018: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas greeted on Wednesday his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on the 36th anniversary of Sinai Liberation.

In a cable of greetings, Abbas expressed his great appreciation for the sacrifices made by Egypt's people and its brave army in order to restore its land and defend the Arab region's issues, topped by the Palestinian cause.

The Palestinian leader also wished that terrorism will be eradicated and uprooted from Sinai.
