Foreign Ministry asks media not to quote Galal Rashidi

CAIRO - 21 April 2018: The Foreign Ministry has called on media on Saturday not to quote remarks of Galal el Rashidi, according to a statement on Saturday.

Some media outlets had quoted him as Egypt's former permanent representative to the United Nation.

The statement added that Rashidi was not a former diplomat and has nothing to do with the Egyptian diplomatic field.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the importance of all media to verify the personality of their guests.
