BUCHAREST - 20 April 2018: Romanian President Klaus Iohannis has said that his country will not be moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem until after a final peace accord is signed between the Israelis and the Palestinians, Ynetnews reported.

A statement was published on Iohannis’s behalf after rumors began to circulate that Romania was planning to follow the US and move its embassy to Jerusalem.

According to the statement, the Romanian president was not involved in any such decision and was not advised on the matter.
