MANAMA - 25 March 2018: Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi over the victims of a terrorist attack in Alexandria, the official news agency BNA reported on Sunday.

The Crown Prince AL Khalifa wished speedy recovery to the injured.

Earlier, the Bahraini foreign ministry condemned the terrorist act, asserting support for Egypt in the fight against terrorism.

Also, Oman strongly denounced the explosion that occurred in Rushdy district in Alexandria, Egypt, on Saturday that killed and injured a number of people.

The Foreign Ministry, in a statement released on Sunday, asserted solidarity with Egypt in fighting violence and terror and expressed deep condolences to the government, people and families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, the Omani News Agency said.

A conscript and a driver were killed and another conscript was injured in an explosion that took place in Rushdy district on Saturday.
