U.S. says killed two 'terrorists' in air strike in southern Libya

CAIRO – 24 March 2018: U.S. forces carried out an air strike near the southern Libyan city of Ubari on Saturday "killing two terrorists", the U.S. Africa Command said in a statement.

The statement said the strike had been carried out in coordination with the internationally recognised Government of National Accord in Tripoli. "At this time, we assess no civilians were killed in this strike," it said.
