CAIRO- 29 April 2017: Joint cooperation protocol will be signed between Egyptian and Ivoirian parliaments in the upcoming period, said Ivory Coast parliament speaker Guillaume Soro during his visit to Cairo on Saturday.

Soro, who currently in Cairo upon an invitation from Egypt’s parliament speaker Ali Abdel A’al, said his visit resulted in an agreement to establish a mutual cooperation protocol between the two parliaments, in addition to a joint committee to enhance trade between Egypt and Ivory Coast.

“I invite Egyptian businessmen to visit our country, thus they can see the investment chance we provide,” Soro told Youm7, demanding more flights from EgyptAir to encourage tourism and trade.

The rebel leader-turned-parliament speaker expressed his hopes that Ivory Coast could make a benefit from Egypt’s experience in counter terrorism, sending his condolences to families of terrorism victims in Egypt in the past period.

Soro headed a delegation visited Egyptian parliament on Thursday, where they checked out the e-vote system and opened a dialogue with PMs and Abdel A’al.
