A local competition was announced to hire 500 new teachers for all subjects that weren’t available in the schools, and the new hired teachers were chosen before the 2017/2018 academic year, which helped to fill the great deficit in the governorate’s schools, especially the mountain valleys, A’akl added.

As part of the “Teachers First” national project to apply the standards of quality implemented by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, 1,500 teachers were trained, A’akl mentioned.

He also confirmed the opening of an experimental plant to assemble solar panels at the Sinai Industrial School, during the experimental opening of a factory to assemble the LED lamps provided by Abu Zneima Industrial School. The project was inaugurated at the beginning of the 2017/2018 academic year. It aims to train the students to serve the local community.
