CAIRO – 24 February 2018: Elections at the Engineers sub Syndicate were held Saturday in 15 syndicates. Sorting the votes began immediately in the presence of the candidates' delegates.

The final results have been officially announced showing that the list of “Engineers in Love of Egypt" won a number of seats. This list is topped by engineer Hany Dahy, the former Minister of Transport.

The elections includes three lists of candidates, most notably "Engineers in Love of Egypt" headed by Dahy, a candidate for the post of chairman of the syndicate, the "Independence Current" list headed by Tariq al-Nabrawi, the current chairman of the syndicate and "Engineers Union" headed by Mostafa Abu-Zeid, the Chairman of Mechanics and Electricity Department at the Ministry of Irrigation.
The voting for the position of the chairman of syndicate will be held on Friday.
