CAIRO - 17 February 2018: Director of the National School of Administration (ENA) of France Patrick Gerard lauded the Egyptian Presidential Leadership Program (PLP), that qualifies Egyptian youths to assume leading posts, stressing his keenness on establishing cooperation with the National Academy for Youth Training and Rehabilitation.

During his meeting with a group of youths of the program on Saturday, the French official expressed his appreciation for the attention paid by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to the Egyptian youths.

Gerard arrived here Friday on a two-day visit to Egypt to probe aspects of cooperation with the academy.

He is expected to meet Sisi as well as Planning and and Administrative Reform Minister Hala el Saed.

This is Gerard's first overseas visit since assuming his post in August, 2017.

Meanwhile, Sisi issued presidential decree No. 434/2017 to establish the National Academy for Youth Training and Rehabilitation which addresses the human resources needs of the young cadres in preparation for allowing them to assume higher posts in state institutions.
