Presidential decree approving grant to fight corruption in Egypt

CAIRO - 8 February 2018: Egypt's official gazette published on Thursday President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi’s decree approving a letter of agreement on a grant worth 3.5 million dollars offered from the Middle East and North Africa Transition Fund in cooperation with the African Development Bank to support Egypt in its fight against corruption.

The grant agreement that was signed in September 26, 2017 aims to help Egypt in carrying out a project for enhancing the capabilities of the Administrative Control Authority for fighting corruption.

The House of Representatives okayed the agreement in its general session held on Dec. 26, 2017.
