Egypt's Parliament speaker heads for Bahrain

CAIRO - 20 January 2018: Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal will leave for Manama later in the day leading a parliamentary delegation, according to a statement by the Egyptian House of Representatives on Saturday.

The visit comes upon an invitation by Speaker of Bahrain Parliament, Ahmed bin Ibrahim Rashid al Malla.

The visit aims to discuss means to foster bilateral relations, especially at the parliamentary level.

During the visit, the Egyptian delegation is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with senior Bahraini officials.
