PM Sherif Ismail in Cairo after 1-month medical treatment in Germany

CAIRO - 21 December 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail returned home on Thursday, after 1-month treatment trip in Germany, according to official sources.

“The PM will get two-day rest at home, then he will proceed his regular schedule at the cabinet’s headquarter for short hours daily,” the source told Egypt Today.

The source pointed out that Ismail is in well shape, and he will follow up some files during his convalescence.

The Prime Minister headed to Germany on November 23 for medical treatment, where he underwent a surgery. Following Ismail’s leave, Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly was named as acting prime minister upon the decree of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.
