Iraqi intelligence uncovers two Daesh hideouts in Anbar

BAGHDAD - 14 December 2017: The Iraqi Military Intelligence Directorate on Thursday announced that Iraqi forces uncovered two hideouts for Daesh militants in Anbar governorate, the Iraqi News Agency reported.

The Seventh Squad of the Iraqi Intelligence carried out an operation to hunt down remnants of the terrorist group in western and northern Anbar. The campaign aims at drying up the financial resources, armament and logistics supplied to the terrorist group.

As many as 30 packages of explosive materials, Katyusha rocket launchers and a number of mortars were found in a tunnel of 25 meters long. (
