CAIRO - 7 March 2017: Egyptian Minister of Tourism Yehia Rashed is heading to Berlin Tuesday to take part in the 2017 edition of ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin), the world's largest tourism trade fair,

ITB Berlin takes place annually in March at the trade fair center Messe Berlin in Berlin-Westend. Decision makers in the tourism field from across the world will attend ITB Berlin.


Egypt will have a pavilion of 2,400 square meters, including 80 exhibitors representing Egyptian hotels, tourism companies and EgyptAir.


The fair will last for five days with the participation of 187 countries and more than 10,000 exhibitors with 160,000sqm of gross exhibition space.

the importance of Egypt’s participation at ITB Berlin, saying it will be an important opportunity to promote tourism in Egypt while taking advantage of the results of German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s latest visit, which reflect the deep relations between Egypt and Germany.
