BEIRUT - 24 November 2017: Lebanese Prime Minister Saad al Hariri met on Thursday with top Lebanese Druze politician Walid Jumblatt.

Hariri returned to Lebanon on Tuesday, three weeks after his surprise resignation which he announced from Saudi Arabia.

"What Lebanon and Sheikh Saad (al-Hariri) went through was an exceptional circumstance, and it was handled with wisdom and politics,” Jumblatt said following the meeting.

He added that Lebanon is in need of upholding the political settlement and launching the political and development process.

Also, Hariri met with US Ambassador in Beirut Elizabeth Richard. They reviewed the situation in Lebanon, the bilateral relations and the regional developments.
