CAIRO – 23 November 2017: Security forces killed three Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated elements in a security raid, and arrested nine other terrorists for planning assaults against armed and security forces.
Moreover, security forces seized large amounts of ammunition and improvised explosive devices inside a terrorist hideout, and impounded two booby-trapped cars.
This came as part of the Interior Ministry’s long-standing efforts to purge the country of extremism and terrorism that has been cutting through it for the past four years, especially since the ouster of MB-affiliated President Mohamed Morsi.
