General authority for health control to be established: Min.

CAIRO - 20 November 2017: A general authority for health control and accreditation will be established to ensure providing high-level health services for citizens, Health Minister Ahmed Emad said on Sunday.

The authority will fall under the supervision of the prime minister, Emad said at a parliament session, during which the health insurance law was discussed.

A presidential decree will be issued to determine the authority's scope of work, he noted.
