PARIS - 10 November 2017: The Egyptian State Council on Friday signed an agreement with 'Panthéon Assas university (Paris II) on boosting cooperation in research and post graduate studies.

Panthéon Assas university is one of the most prestigious French universities.

In a statement to MENA, head of the state council Ahmed Abu al Azm said that under the agreement, young judges of the council will be capable of applying for PHDs and post masters in France at very low costs.

The agreement include posting us on the latest researches in the legal field as well as exchanging references. That is expected to open the prospects and knowledge of the council's youth, Abu al Azm noted.

During the meeting with the head of the French state council, a joint timetable for work during the coming six months has been set, Abu al Azm said.

Abu al Azm termed the judicial cooperation between Egypt and France as "very good" and fruitful, expecting it to witness major development in the coming period.

A delegation from the French Council of State will be invited to visit Egypt and take part in joint conferences, Abu al Azm noted.
