CAIRO – 23 October 2017: Egyptian Parliament will receive a bill focuses in two topics, compensating terrorism victims of the security troops and enhancing trials of terrorism prosecution cases’ defendants, said the head of the legal committee of the Conference Party and member of Parliament Ahmed Maklad.

Maklad said that the bill was discussed with the head of the legislative committee of the Conference Ahmed Sherif, before being proposed to the Parliament.

The first part of the bill suggest setting a legislative order for the rights of those who were killed or injured during fighting terrorist militants, to have their families compensated, beside providing free medical treatments for the wounded, said Maklad.

The second part of the bill suggests to accelerate the trials of the defendants charged with terrorist actions, without neglecting the accused, in a step to evade the dilemma of the trial in absentia, added Maklad.
