US condemns Egypt terrorist attack

WASHINGTON - 21 October 2017: The United States strongly condemned Friday's terrorist attack against Egyptian security forces in the desert of Wahat in Giza.

In a press release, the State Department offered "profound condolences to the families of the deceased, the government and the people of Egypt."

It wished speedy recovery for those injured.

"The United States stands with Egypt at this difficult time, as we continue to work together to fight the scourge of terrorism," said the statement.
