CAIRO– 17 October 2017: Egypt has played a major role in ending inter-Palestinian divisions, said Arab League Assistant Secretary General Ambassador Saeed Abu Ali on Tuesday.

In press statements, he expressed hope that inter-Palestinian reconciliation, which kicked off in Cairo, would continue until ending Palestinians chasms for good and restoring the Palestinian cause to the regional and international spotlight to achieve Palestinian independence.

The Arab League has been following up with all appreciation the Egyptian efforts on this score, he said, highlighting endeavors exerted by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and several Egyptian bodies concerned.
