DAMASCUS - 10 September 2017: Spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Talal Silo denied on Saturday any coordination between the SDF and the Syrian regime forces concerning an operation to liberate Deir ez-Zor liberation from Daesh's grip.

In statements to Al Arabiya Al Hadath, Silo said SDF and regime troops are 150km apart, with Daesh elements positioned in the middle.

He added that the SDF are working east of the Euphrates, while the regime forces are near Deir ez-Zor city.

He asserted that the SDF will not clash with the regime forces or their allies, adding that the international community will decide later the future of the relationship between the SDF and the Syrian regime.

Silo added that the US-led coalition is supporting the forces through military advisers and experts, as well as fighters and equipment to eliminate terrorism.
