CAIRO, 8 September, 2017: The Syrian army on Thursday regained control over the town of Ash Sholah in Deir Ez-zor, local sources said.

On Tuesday, the Syrian army managed to finally break the three-year Daesh siege of the city of Deir Ez-zor.

Syrian Air Force fighter jets bombarded Daesh gatherings and supply routes in the town of Ash Sholah, destroying them and killing many extremists.
