CAIRO – 5 September 2017: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi asserted, during his meeting with his South African counterpart Jacob Zuma that the world is confronting immense challenges that require collective action to be addressed.

The meeting came between both leaders came on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.

Egypt agrees with BRICS’ vision on the necessity of providing the required funding for improving the basic infrastructure, Sisi stressed.

The BRICS summit brings together the five fast-growing economies, who are seeking a greater say in world affairs. BRICS consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China and their most recent member, South Africa.
