ASSIUT, Upper Egypt - 30 August 2017: Assiut Governor Yasser el Desouky referred officials at the meat section in the Egyptian Company for Wholesale Trade (Masria) and the supply inspector to investigation.

The employees refrained from selling meat to citizens, claiming that it had run out.

This came during a surprise tour made by the governor on Wednesday where he inspected markets and outlets in Assiut.

Desouky gave directives to offer needed foodstuff and meat on the occasion of Eidul Adha to alleviate burdens on citizens
