Azhar mourns ferries' victims in Brazil

CAIRO – 27 Aug 2017: Al Azhar Grand Imam Dr Ahmed el Tayyeb has offered his sincere condolences to the Brazilian government and people for victims of two ferries that sank off coasts of the Brazilian states of Bahia and Para, leaving at least 41 people dead.

In a press release on Sunday, Tayyeb also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Hopefully, those missing would be found safe and sound, he prayed.
