MARSA MATROUH, Aug 20 2017: Matrouh security forces foiled an attempt by 36 persons to infiltrate into Libya via desert routes in Salloum.

The infiltrators include six Africans, including two Sudanese and four Eritreans.

An investigation was launched into the incident.
