Attempt to smuggle foreign currency foiled at Misrata Airport

TRIPOLI - 19 Aug 2017: Misrata International Airport authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle four million euros out of the country to Istanbul Airport in Turkey.

During checking luggage, the authorities seized four bags containing a huge amounts of foreign currency in addition to a number of visa cards, the customs authorities office posted on its Facebook page.
