Sisi signs new decrees regarding development projects

CAIRO – 3 August 2017: President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi signed presidential decrees on Thursday regarding new development projects to be implemented in Egypt, according to Egypt official newspaper.

Sisi issued Decree No. 342 of 2017 which approves the reallocation of 4,789 acres of land owned by the state in Suez governorate to be used for the construction of a transformer station and electricity networks in a military city.

This decree was issued after reviewing the laws in the constitution, which governs it and the reports of the competent bodies especially the report presented by the National Centre for Planning State Lands Usage (NCPSLU).

Sisi also issued another decree to consider the development of the first stage of North Giza Road Project and the central ring road as projects for the public utility.

Earlier, in the fourth round of National Youth Conference, the president discussed with the Egyptian youth new development projects and directed the government to implement recommendations of the conference.
