CAIRO- 1 August 2017: The World Youth Forum, headed by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, called for registration for participation in events through the Youth International Conference’s official Facebook page on Tuesday.

The link published on the Facebook page leads to the forum’s website and requires applicants to enter their data including name, ID, age, email and educational qualification, along with their suggestions and ideas to be discussed during the conference with officials.

The forum is expected to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh city next November.

On July 24, Sisi inaugurated the fourth National Youth Conference in Alexandria. Around 1,300 youth attended the conference, along with parliamentarians, heads of unions and universities, journalists, public figures, and representatives of the National Council for Women and the National Council for Human Rights.

During the conference Sisi called on the media to help create a state of phobia against the state’s failure. “Many countries and entities tried to make our country fail, but their attempts did not succeed. The history will remember always the armed forces’ role in protecting their country,” Sisi added.

He added that one of the goals of his presidency is to improve the Egyptian spirit, “even the Suez Canal Area Development Project targeted to improve the general spirit against failure and despair.”

Sisi also discussed the problem of overpopulation, saying that Egypt’s two main threats are terrorism and overpopulation.

The first four rounds of the conference were held in Cairo, Aswan, Ismailia and Alexandria.
