The church is supporting the pope's stand and there is a consensus on rejecting the war and that everyone has the right to decent life.

The pope was encouraging interfaith dialogue and the church is focusing on peace principles worldwide, added the diplomat.

Pope Francis died last Monday at the age of 88 and will be buried on Saturday at the Basilica of St. Mary Major in Rome.
