GAZA CITY - 26 July 2017: Israeli gunboats opened fire on Wednesday at Palestinian fishing boats in the sea off the coast of the Gaza Strip.

The attack falls within the framework of Israel's almost daily shooting at Palestinian fishermen.

Under the Oslo accord signed in 1993, fishing is allowed 20 miles off the enclave.

According to official figures, there are 3,500 fishermen in the Gaza Strip.
