Egypt’s largest int’l boat show kicks off with over 40 major companies, 120 brands

CAIRO – 6 February 2025: Today marks the grand opening of the 7th edition of Egypt International Boat Show, Egypt’s largest and most luxurious boat show set to take place at the Cairo International Convention Centre (CICC) in Nasr City from February 6 to 9, 2025.

Officiating the inauguration is Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, who will welcome a distinguished lineup of international exhibitors.

This year’s show boasts a remarkable participation from over 40 leading companies and more than 120 brands, showcasing a diverse array of yacht designs in various sizes.

 

Attendees can explore everything related to luxury yachting—from propulsion systems and equipment to essential amenities that cater to the needs of yacht enthusiasts.

The exhibition serves as a significant opportunity for those looking to purchase a yacht, revitalizing the market and positioning Egypt as a burgeoning hub for global yachting tourism in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives.

Additionally, a delegation from the Yacht Club de Monaco is set to visit the exhibition to explore avenues for collaboration with the Egyptian side, focusing on elevating yacht tourism and investment opportunities in Egyptian ports.

Egypt has been actively promoting yacht tourism in recent years, launching its inaugural online platform aimed at enhancing yacht tourism opportunities.

This platform, titled Single-Window for Yacht Tourism, allow tourist yachts to easily apply for and obtain their visas.

Foreign yachts can receive their visas in just 30 minutes, with payment options available in US dollars.

To facilitate foreign yacht tourists, Egypt has introduced a three-month visa option, aimed at eliminating barriers along its coastlines and boosting yacht tourism.
