Russia records six violations of ceasefire in Syria

MOSCOW 25 July 2017: Russia's representatives, who monitor the truce in Syria have recorded on Tuesday six violations of the ceasefire agreement.

A Defense Ministry statement said, the Russian team recorded six violations of the ceasefire agreement, including four in Lattakia and two in Aleppo provinces during the past 24 hours.

Most of the violations occurred in the areas, which are controlled by terrorist Daesh and Al Nusra Front groups, according to the statement.

The statement pointed out that the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria carried out four humanitarian operations during the last 24 hours.

The Russian forces distributed 5.3 tons of aid, while a Russian plane delivered 21 tons of food in the city of Deir Ez Zor, eastern Syria, the statement added.
