Palestinian delegations arrive in Cairo following Egyptian invitation

CAIRO - 5 June 2024: A delegation from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and a delegation from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) arrived in Cairo in response to an Egyptian invitation.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) announced that a delegation led by Deputy Secretary-General Jamil Mazhar, accompanied by members of the political bureau, arrived in Cairo on Tuesday.

According to "Cairo News" channel, a delegation from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) also arrived in Cairo following an Egyptian invitation to discuss the current Palestinian situation, especially regarding the Gaza Strip.

The visit of the PFLP leadership delegation follows an official Egyptian invitation. This visit is part of efforts to halt the aggression and genocide waged by the occupation against the Palestinian people.

The PFLP emphasized its ongoing efforts to meet the Palestinian people's demands to stop the genocide, lift the blockade, provide urgent relief and reconstruction for Gaza, and release prisoners. The Front hopes these efforts will fulfill the aspirations of the Palestinian people and serve their legitimate rights and just cause.
